After a month or so with Bernie, who is her roommate and co-foster, CC doesn’t growl any more when Bernie passes nearby. She glares a little but doesn’t grumble, but then she seems to glare at me and everything else as well. Bernie sometimes goes nose-to-nose with her, even offering some gentle, playful nudges with a paw, but CC just sits there.

What this tells me is that either cat would do just fine around other cats. And here’s an idea: adopt them both!

Oh, and they like watching the birdies on the patio. I think one of the Dark-eyed Juncos was taunting Bernie yesterday, romping just a few inches from him with only a screen between them.
