THELMA & LOUISE (Part 2)
Thelma likes to watch TV.

She also likes to read things on the computer with me.

Sometimes she prefers just to sit on my lap and stare at me. She’s a lady who knows what she wants.

But what she really loves is watching me eat. If she thinks her attention will earn her any nibbles from my plate, however, she’s meowing up the wrong tree.
After a few days with me, Louise began venturing out from under the bed for more than just eating and pooping. Here she let me get close enough to take her picture.

It was good news when she came out for longer and longer stretches. It was bad news when she and her mom chose my favorite chair as their hangout. I don’t have the heart to make them move, so I just sit somewhere else.
Some mothers and daughters don’t resemble each other very much, but Thelma and Louise definitely do. Apart from their personalities, I found two things that have helped me tell them apart. First, the stripes on Louise’s head are a bit more pronounced and uniform than Thelma’s. And Thelma has a tiny spot on her nose.

Aside from their joint thievery of my TV chair, an activity Thelma and Louise share is birdwatching. I have a little patio and put out seeds all the time, and there’s a constant parade of winged performers out there that the kitties love to admire.

A common question with cats is how they’ll manage living with dogs. My inclination about these two is to think they’d rather be in a dog-free home, mostly because of Louise’s reserved nature.
